    html frames & flash

    Hi!

I have a html page with 3 frames,
one at the top with a menu,
& other 2 frames at the bottom, somthing like that:

    Code:
    ---------------------
    ---------------------
    | | |
    | | |
    | | |
    | | |
    | | |
    | | |
    | | |
    ---------------------
    now,
at the top frame i have a flash menu,
i want that if the user will click the flash button,
the other 2 frames at the bottom will be updated with new html pages...
i know only how to update 1 frame...

    thanks

    ok,
i can do it by using two gotourl() functions...

but now i see that i need to do somthing a bit more that this...

i need to change one frame with another html page [which i know how] BUT, i need to controll the flash that is in the other frame. i need to tell it to go to a certain frame...

    so the bottom line is:
when the user is clicking the flash button that is on the top frame, the left frame is updated with a new html page, AND the right frame is playing a new frame in the flash file... [don't br confused with "html frame" & "flash frame" which is a movie frame... ]

Why not just do the play() function in that flash file? If you are updating the html with the url function, also update the other flash frame with either:
    playing that specific scene
seperating it into a seperate movie and launching just the new movie
starting it on the new frame

P.S. -- I'm not sure if this is the right forum for this, might need to be moved. It's more a flash question than a server side question (or an html question which isn't server side), but since it's actionscript, I'd go with the graphics flash section.
