    help with servers to domains

    i just registered a domain on godaddy.com
    now i want to relate the domain name to my server.
    ive tried stuff, but its not working... what do i do!!

    someone help me!

    You need to point the domain to the IP address of the internet connection that your webserver is on. You need to have a fixed IP address, if you are unsure what the address is, or if you even have a fixed IP, contact your IAP (Internet Access Provider).

    Then if you are on a router, you need to forward the correct port (80) to your server. You can usually do this through the control console for your router.

    You'd have to change the settings on the domain. If you are unsure, look on the site where you registered.
