    I got the mod_rewrite blues

    I want to use mod_rewrite on my site, using the condition and rule below (even without the condition), it screws up the site by not showing any images, css, or .js files. For some reason they're just not being called properly anymore. I was hoping the condition would just say "don't both if they're calling from images/" but apparenlty not.

    <IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
    RewriteEngine on
    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} !images/ [NC]
    RewriteRule ^([0-9]+).(.*)$ index.php?section=read&id=$1 [NC]
    </IfModule>

    Any help would be greaty appreciated, thanks

    And this has to do with PHP how? This would be an Apache software question and would go better in the Other Serverside issues forum.

    I'll move it there...
