    Custom 404 page

    Need help to set up custom 404 error page on IIS7 Windows 2008. It was working fine on IIS6 - windows 2003. But IIS7 its showing me blank page for pages not physically found

    We don't really have a non-Apache server section so I've moved this from ASP to Other Server Side Issues.

    I think he/she posted in ASP section because the 404 page he/she wanted to use is written in ASP code.

    If that's the case, there are indeed some settings that must be made with IIS 7 to enable ASP to handle errors. I did it a while back on our system, but for the life of me I don't now remember all the steps. But I found the answer via googling, so...

    But the custom 404 redirection is working fine only for .aspx pages not for .asp and other static pages
