.htaccess and redirecting two domains
Hi. I currently have a website that is being hosted. I have another website with a different domain that also needs hosting. I was told that I could create a .htaccess file that could separate the traffic based on which domain the user was seeking.
For instance. I own abc.com and have hosting for it. I also own cbs.com. Currently, if both DNSs are set up, they will both point at abc.com/index.html. Is there any way to tell it to redirect abc.com to abc.com/abc/index.html and cbs.com to abc.com/cbs/index.html?
The code you use looks like this:
Redirect /olddirectory/oldfile.html http://yoursite.com/newdirectory/newfile.html
This wouldn't do it. Anyone have a solution?
