No CSS with IIS error pages?

Okay I made up some custom error pages for my IIS server and I have some CSS that all the error pages share so i put it in a style sheet. Yet when the error page comes up it doesn't seem to work. I have an image on the page and that works.

Is there some way around this? It might work if i put the CSS in inline for the page but i'd like to use a external style sheet if possible.

whats the code you used to put it in?

Have you tried just to use the <!--#INCLUDE FILE="style.asp" -->, and instead of a .css, you have it in script format? <style>
