    Sql Server 2k Qns

hI ALL, wanna ask a qns on import function in sql 2k database. i wanted to "import" in a database table details and overwrite into the relevant databse. however, when i used the import function, the details are added into the prevailing data in the table instead of overwriting the entire table. thus there are repeated data enrties and the table is wrong.

Wanna askif there is a way to overwrite the entire database table from an excel sheet where the data is alreay written into the excel sheet?

    thanks!!

    Server side topic

This question seems more in place in one of the server side forums.

By the way: which DBMS are you using?

    Edit:
May I suggest as well that you get a better keyboard? Your posts are rather hard to read with all the missing characters...
