    Question ORACLE: invalid SQL statement

    Hello, everyone.

I'm trying to update one column in one table, and I'm getting an "invalid SQL statement" error message from the Oracle database. Could someone please tell me what I'm doing incorrectly?

    Code:
    UPDATE [schema].[table]
    SET status = 'Working'
    WHERE create_date = '2012-12-05 08:50:55'
I've tried this with and without TRUNC() and to_Date().

UPDATE: I had code remarked with /* and */ in front of the query. I thought it would be ignored, but apparently it was enough to make the db server think that there was invalid SQL present.

    Thanks,

If anyone knows of a website that can offer ColdFusion help that isn't controlled by neurotic, pedantic jerks* (stackoverflow.com), please PM me with a link.
