    SQLPlus Error

    Hello.

I have an assignment due tomorrow and I keep getting an error in the code. Can someone look at this code and identify any errors visually. The error I get is line 2 not ended properly.

I've got your IP address and tracked down your location. I WILL be informing your teacher of this violation!

Well this has made my morning. I was of course joking, and by violation I was refering to cheating on an assignment

I'm not sure it's a violation since the op has posted their code and is asking for help. But even you really have an IP address, so what?

IP addresses can be easily spoofed and even if it's real, it's probably the ip address of a router with who knows how many pc's "hanging" off it. And then even if you do somehow manage to track down which pc the post actually came from, you still have have no way at all of knowing who actually was sitting at the keyboard when the post was sent if multiple students have access to the pc

    Fixed via PM.
My helpful sig is on vacation trying to loose some weight. It got a bit fat and caused a few problems but it will be back at some point!

That fixed it. Sometimes it is the simplest thing and I appreciate that you were able to help.

    Kind regards,

If that fixes it, please update your thread and let people know that it's been solved with my help via PM as I no longer post publicly.

its funny, iBall cos you got 'thanked' for asking to echo out the error code, even though that was done in the original post, quality

If you can reference others in sigs then others can as well (lets face it you started it), putting people on ignore lists is childish and simply confuses threads so my Guess is that Tango does not take your advice there.

anyway Tango Fixed the code , so +1 for that and so now I am closing the thread.
    resistance is...

MVC is the current buzz in web application architectures. It comes from event-driven desktop application design and doesn't fit into web application design very well. But luckily nobody really knows what MVC means, so we can call our presentation layer separation mechanism MVC and move on. (Rasmus Lerdorf)
