    Tables and capitalization

I recently formatted my PC and noticed today that on my local machine, tables do not keep capitalization in names (eg, if create a table 'forumAdmins' it becomes 'forumadmins'). I've noticed it doesn't care about capitalization (queries with table references ignore capitalization), but tables on my server do maintain and care about capitalization.

I'm not well versed in mySQL settings... is this a setting issue? Or a version issue? Should I care?

It is a setting and platform issue, see: http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.0/...se_table_names
