    help with query

Hello, I found this on Google: http://www.codingforums.com/archive/...p/t-96084.html

and was wondering, what are those c. , p. things? Are they shorthand for something?

alias. You can give a name to a table for example:
    Code:
select * from mytable as myt
you can use myt instead of mytable and when you adress a field you can use myt.myfield instead of mytable.myfield.
