    uploading MSQL databases

Here is a simple question. I have my local machine set up with php and mysql. I created the website and databases. Now, the qusetion is how do I upload the databases (MSQL) to my web server? What tools do i need? Is there a folder on my local machine taht I just upload. Sort of the way you do with MS Access. Thank you for you help!

So the webspace with mySQL has PHP running too? If so, then check it has phpMyAdmin running? on your local machine how did you create the mySQL database? did you use software? 'mySQL front' etc.

In general it should be a simple matter of export / import but the 'how' is dependent on what technology you used on your local machine to create these DB's and what's running on the remote server (webspace)

In my case on local machine I use 'mySQL front' which is an o.k front end sort of like access i suppose and also phpmyadmin, then I just export the database tables to an .sql, .txt or .csv file which i can import/cut+paste to the web server mySQL database via phpMyAdmin.
