    Javascript Project: Introductory University level

    RESOLVED

    1) Project Details: This is a small project that won't take more than a couple of hours for someone who's an expert. It involves Javascript at an introductory university level. More details will be given to you in an email.

    2) Payment Amount: $150

    3) Payment method/ details (Paypal, check? Timeline?): Paypal, money transfer, or mail...whatever works best. Timeline is 1 week.

    4) Additional Info (about project or potential bidders): Would prefer someone who's an expert and wouldn't need much guidance.

    Hi guys,
I'm a private tutor, and I'm looking for someone who can work on a small project for me. I would do it myself, but I am not an expert and I'm on a tight schedule at the moment.

For someone who knows what he/she's doing, this work will not take more than a couple of hours, and you will be paid $150 US (either through paypal, money transfer, or mail, whatever suits best).

You will be emailed all the necessary information and files that you may need, and you will have approximately 1 week to complete the work.

I'm a trustworthy person, and if anyone's interested, please contact me as soon as possible.

Your prompt response and your help will be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you

I am sure there might be similar questions and posts on various forums. However, YOU sir are making a huge assumption here, and you do not have the right to do that!

I only joined this forum today, so I have no idea what "homework" you are referring to. I have also made similar requests on websites like Kijiji to hire people as well as look for independant workers.

Like I already mentioned, I am a private tutor and I teach many courses. I get many students with similar questions and problems. I am not well-versed in Javascript and I cannot ask the schools to provide me with an answer key so the only choice I have is to solve these problems myself.

I am currently on a very tight schedule which is why I have requested for help. My collegues and I are paying for this.

If you do not want to help, that is your choice and your right, but you do not have the right to "Warn" others based on nothing but your assumptions.

    Thank you.

    @Ethan013

Unfortunately there are a few members on this website who resort to, on occasions, making unconditional statements that are not true.

But this is an interesting situation now because as I see it either Old Pedant is a liar or you are.

Obviously one of you is deliberately not telling the truth.

But I believe in the principle of "innocent until proven guilty" and so I'll give you the benefit of the doubt since Old Pedant has failed to post verifiable proof to support his accusations.

Good luck and best wishes for your project

You haven't posted anything that proves that assignment is the project the op is referring to and so I don't see how it is relevant. So my original view stands

    Edit:
hmmmm....looks like a post before this one by another poster has been removed.....lucky I took a screen dump

Now *YOU* are calling *ME* a liar. I *DO NOT LIE*. I make errors. I don't lie.

I posted *EXACTLY* what he sent me.

And, yes, it is possible he has been telling the truth all along. *I* never called anybody a liar. You did.

I just said that these are homework assignments. And they are. No matter what you care to believe or disbelieve.

On top of all that, he even *admitted* that these are assignments. That (according to him) he is tutoring students for/in.

Ask him to send the materials to you if you are so BULL-headed as to not see truth when it smacks you in your BULL-face.

I swear, I think your only aim in life is to tear other people down so you somehow make yourself look better. Here's a hint for you: It doesn't work.

I have removed my comments since he has now marked his post "RESOLVED". I would assume somebody else decided it was worth the measly $150 to do all that work for him. I truly wish that you were the one who had done so.

And you still haven't posted anything that proves anything I posted is not true.

And I see you have removed the post that contained your unsubstantiated statement (lucky I took a screen dump)

I haven't seen any yet and so I am still giving the op the benefit of the doubt.

Imo, if people can't handle their unsubstantiated statements not being believed by those choosing to not believe them, then they should consider not making them in the first place. It's as simple as that
