    Extremely basic menu onClick help...

    Hi,
    I have an image about 50 x 50 px in length. When a user clicks on it, a menu should come above the image... How do I do that? I don't need any effects... But that would be nice.

    Thanks and c ya

    Here you go bud

    <head>
    <script language="JavaScript" >
    function popper() {
    SW=window.open('yourmenu.html','NewWin','toolbar=no,status=no,width=638,height=363 ')
    SW.moveTo(340,340); }
    </script>
    </head>

    <body>
    <a href="#" onclick="popper()"><img src="/your50x50image" ></a>
    </body>

    Notes:
    1.width=638,height=363 <- Change the width and height to your (menu) specs
    2.moveTo(340,340) <- Change these numbers to adjust the (page orientation) top and left margins of your menu popup.

    I have a copatibility issue with IE7... Resizing won't work. Is there any way to bring a hidden div to float over everything when somebody clicks on an image and when they click on the image again it hides?

    Seriously you need to be patient. We are all volunteers here and others need help as well, not just you. Waiting a mere 7 hours and then expecting an answer is showing impatience. I for one usually don't help impatient people. If you don't get an answer then its because you probably didn't formulate your question properly or all it would take to get your answer is to do a little research on your own. Google can help a lot. http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamici...tmltooltip.htm

    Sorry about the impatience... Maybe I could use the tooltip as an onClick event... I'll try that.

    Compatibility issue?

    Maybe you're popping a too big an image for the window. Check/adjust your window size.
    Just a short jab in the air . Hope it works out for you bud.
