    How to write "not equal to zero"

    this is probably a simple problem to answer but i can't find the answer anywhere. Is it possible to write not equal to zero in a equation. sorta like
    "=/ 0" or something..

    my code is below if it helps understanding what i need..

    while (value =/0 ) { // test condition
    System.out.println("The square of " +value +" is " + value * value);
