    Windows Media Player jukebox...

    Ok... I have a .wax playlist with some audio files that I want to play in a browser with the WMP plugin. Here's what I want to do (and I'm 99.99% positive that it's possible).

    I want to retrieve the track information (Artist name, song name, album name, release date... etc.) and write it into the page (iframe?) as each song begins.

    Based on the the song, I also want to be able to display lyrics, info about the band, etc. (hidden divs?).

    And to top it off, I want a playlist beside the player where a song can be clicked and it will skip to that song in the .wax.

    I haven't been able to find any good information on this, but from what I've found I think it's possible (just not 100% positive).

    Thanks for the help.

    I've changed it slightly. Now it just uses a link from the .wax file to show the lyrics. But of course, it's giving me nothing but grief. I can get it to link to actual websites, but not local html files. Is there some way to make to do local files?

    Here's what I have so far...

    The player
    Code:
    <html>
    <head>
    <title>Acoustic Enough... And Piano Too!</title>

    <SCRIPT>
    window.resizeTo(800,650);
    window.moveTo(0,0);
    </SCRIPT>

    <STYLE>
    body {margin:0;}
    </STYLE>

    </head>
    <body>

    <OBJECT id="audio" width="320" height="95"
    	style="position:absolute; left:0;top:0;"
    	CLASSID="CLSID:6BF52A52-394A-11d3-B153-00C04F79FAA6"
    	type="application/x-oleobject">

    	<PARAM NAME="URL" VALUE="playlist.wax">
    	<PARAM NAME="SendPlayStateChangeEvents" VALUE="True">
    	<PARAM NAME="AutoStart" VALUE="False">
    	<PARAM name="uiMode" value="full">
    	<PARAM name="PlayCount" value="1">
    </OBJECT>

    <div style="width: 480px; height: 650px; background: #999999; position:

    absolute; left: 320;">

    <iframe name="lyrics" src="http://www.yahoo.com/" width="470" height="609"

    scrollbar="auto">
    </iframe>

    </div>

    <div style="width: 320px; height: 555px; background: #000000; position:

    absolute; top: 95; color: #ffffff;">
    <b>PLAYLIST:</b><br><br>

    23<br>
    24<br>
    25<br>

    </div>

    </body>
    </head>
    The playlist
    Code:
    <ASX version = "3.0">

    <Entry>
    <Ref href = "1.mp3" />

    <banner href="viewlyrics.gif">
Click here to view lyrics
    <moreinfo href="plushlyrics.html" target="lyrics" />
    </banner>

    <title>Plush</title>
    </Entry>
    The player's opened without any toolbars or anything...

    But I can't get "plushlyrics.html" to open up in the "lyrics" iframe.
