    java help

    lo all. im a complete java noob, i know nothin at all about it. i friend has asked me to put a finance calculator on his site, like thisone:
    http://www.blackhorse.co.uk/2002/htm/personalquote.htm

    how difficult would this be to do? for a complete novice.
    know of any source or tutorials for this kinda thing?

    any help greatly appreciated.

    Java or Javascript? They are not the same language. Which one do you want? I'm going to guess javascript, java might be overkill for a calculator. Search around the net for calculators particularly finance calculators there are probably some out there. The most important part about the calculator is the equations you use. Figure those out first then go from there. Math in javascript is just like math in your own math class.
