Can someone help a newbie with a menu problem?
I have a customer that wants a big circle on his main page with the words around the circle to bring up a popup/window that presents links to other pages on his site.
I used createPopup and it works great. Only problem is that it only works in IE - not Netscate or other browsers.
What should I use that is compatible with most browsers that works like createPopup? I hate having the arrow to the right on a drop down list type popup. The drop down/window can be right below the word that is on the circle but I would like to see something like a simple popup when the user clicks on or mouseovers the word.
It's like a normal menu system but in a circle.
What would do you use?

window.open, but many popup blockers will block it.
If this post contains any code, I may or may not have tested it. It's probably just example code, so no getting knickers in a bunch over a typo, OK? If it doesn't have basic error checking in it, such as object detection or checking if objects are null before using them, put that in there. I'm giving examples, not typing up your whole app for you. You run code at your own risk.
