    Question ¿Javascript Webcam Browser Version?

    Hi! I'm really new with this, but I have the following javascript displaying a webcam on a website, and it only works on Internet Explorer for Windows. I need it to work on other browsers, especially Mozilla (firefox). Any help is very much appreciated.

    <script language="JavaScript">
    <!--
    if ((navigator.appName == "Microsoft Internet Explorer")&&(navigator.platform != "MacPPC"))
    {
    document.write("<OBJECT ID=\"VaCtrl\" WIDTH=362 HEIGHT=306");
    document.write(" CLASSID=CLSID:A93B47FD-9BF6-4DA8-97FC-9270B9D64A6C");
    document.write(" CODEBASE=\"http://208.57.82.160/plugin/h263ctrl.cab#version=1,7,0,5\">");
    document.write("<PARAM NAME=\"Url\" VALUE=\"http://208.57.82.160/cgi-bin/video.vam\">");
    document.write("<PARAM NAME=\"VSize\" VALUE=\"SIF\">");
    document.write("<PARAM NAME=\"RemoteIP\" VALUE=\"208.57.82.160\">");
    document.write("<PARAM NAME=\"RemotePort\" VALUE=\"5001\">");
    document.write("</OBJECT>");
    }
    //-->
    </script>

    so you obviously didn't write it then, did you? just get rid of the object detection conditional.
    *keep it simple (TM)
