    mailto and sender's email address

I am designing a form for end users to submit information to management, but the sender's email address needs to be masked or anonymous.

Everything is on an internal network. The form is all client side and uses mailto. Every user in the company uses Outlook for email.

I just need to know, is there anyway when using mailto to have the sender's email address masked or anonymous?

Thanks for any help or info!

why don't you BCC it? in anycase, why do you need to send anonymous emails - sounds rather iffy to me?

    BCC won't mask From.

No, you can't mask the From with mailto. It's just an ordinary mail when you use that.
Use a real form processor instead of mailto if you want to mask the sender. There's plenty of free ones out there. Nor is it hard to roll your own most of the time.

If this post contains any code, I may or may not have tested it. It's probably just example code, so no getting knickers in a bunch over a typo, OK? If it doesn't have basic error checking in it, such as object detection or checking if objects are null before using them, put that in there. I'm giving examples, not typing up your whole app for you. You run code at your own risk.
