    Web page dialog in Firefox

    Hi,

    in the popular rich text editor FCK web page dialogs are being used instead of ordinary pop-ups. Because I like the look of it, I was looking on the internet how to do this and found the following code.

    Code:
    <SCRIPT language="vbscript">
    dim oDlgWindow

    Sub webdialog(page)
      Set oDlgWindow = window.showModalDialog(page, window, "dialogheight:180px; dialogWidth:320px; status:no;")
    End Sub
    </SCRIPT>
    Since this is written in VB script, the dialogs don't work in Firefox. However, when using FCK editor with Firefox, the dialogs do work. So it should be possible. I went trough the code of FCK, but because of the large amount of code I just couldn't find how this is done. Google also didn't get me much results.

    So does anyone here know how to get web page dialogs, to work in Firefox?

    Thanks very much,

    cheers michiel

    Try using JavaScript's modal window.
