    Javascript Chat?

I am not sure if this is even possible, but can a person make a basic chat script (and use a meta tag to refresh the form and see others text)

out of javascript? Or does this require programming of a server side language.

If there is such a code, and someone has it, might I see it?

Forget style. Code to semantics. Seperate style from structure, and structure from behaviour.
I code to specs, and test only in Firefox (unless stated otherwise).

On the page he admits to using server side code

"The server-side script (which I did not publish for security reasons) could be improved."

To answer your question Vapor. No you cannot do it without serverside code.
Note: I do not test code. I just write it off the top of my head. There might be bugs in it! But if any thing I gave you the overall theory of what you need to accomplish. Also there are plenty of other ways to accomplish this same thing. I just gave one example of it. Other ways might be faster and more efficient.
