Question JavaScript to print page (Not just page. Look inside plz)

How can I make JavaScript that would print only certain area on the web-site?
Let's say I have menu, top banner and main table on the page.
I only need to print that table by clicking "Print" button.
So is there a way to put that table in some sort of a <div> and tell JavaScript to print only that area?

    Always print only that content?
Use CSS and media print to make the other things not show up with visibility: hidden.

Only if they click a button or something? Use javascript to change classes to hide the other content or have it bring up a plain text "print friendly" version of the page with those items not on it or a version with the CSS print media set.

If this post contains any code, I may or may not have tested it. It's probably just example code, so no getting knickers in a bunch over a typo, OK? If it doesn't have basic error checking in it, such as object detection or checking if objects are null before using them, put that in there. I'm giving examples, not typing up your whole app for you. You run code at your own risk.

    But it doesn't matter anymore.
