Hello all. How do you get popup menus from the various areas on an image map? I know you put the Mouseover event in the <area... > tag to call a function, but what should the function look like? I'm trying to call up a simple menu GIF that floats anywhere near the area to be moused over. Here's what I've got in the head section so far:

<SCRIPT LANGUAGE="javascript">
Image1 = menu_1(100,75)
Image1.src = "SideNavGreen.gif"
function list()
{
document.tg.src=Image1.src;return true;
}
</SCRIPT>

...and here's what I've got for the map itself:

<table align="center"><tr><td align="center"><img src="tutorgrid.gif" name="tg" usemap="#tutorgridmap" border="0">

<map id="tutorgridmap" name="tutorgridmap">

<area shape="rect"
coords="6,6,105,47"
alt="Plagiarism"
href="Pattyplag.htm"
onMouseOver="list()">

As you can tell I'm very new at this. My size, location, function, everything may be off. I appreciate any help I can get. This is such a common-seeming thing on the Web, but I haven't found any snippets I can copy or on-point tutorials. Thanks again!
