    readyState for .pdf/.doc/.ppt?

    I'm wondering if it's even possible to find the readyState for when a document is loaded into say, an iFrame. I'm checking for the readyState right now on the iFrame, but this fires as "complete" right away, which hides my loading message, and THEN the .pdf/.doc/.ppt loads in the iFrame (loads as in begins to initiate, shows "downloading" in the bottom-left corner).

    So once again, I'm looking for some kind of code that will find when the document is done loading and displayed, so I can hide my Loading message then.

    Thanks in advance,
    Josh.

    readyState seems to work...
    Code:
    <iframe width="590" height="450" style="border:3px double windowframe"
    src="http://support.microsoft.com/servicedesks/webcasts/wc011101/wc011101.ppt"
    onreadystatechange="status = readyState"></iframe>
    Thanks in advance!
