    drop menu help PLEASE.

    i know nothing about javascript but i'm doing this for my school so it is my grade. i found this menu somewhere (i dont remember.) everything is fine except this:
    if you open the index.htm in IE the menus drop about 40ish pixels lower than the buttons. i think an:

    if (browser.isIE)
    position =
    else
    position = normal

    statement or something is needed. but i have no idea if i'm right or not or where to put it.

    While direct cheating is discouraged, collaboration is no problem. Instead of asking for something directly, you could say "I have to do this, and I'm thinking about doing it this way, but are there any better methods?" You have clearly demonstrated you know at least what you're talking about, and at the same time, attempted to improve your scripting skills (by looking at superior - if any - methods), which is really what homework is all about.

    i'm not cheating. my teacher knows i know nothing about javascript but he told me to do what i could to get these menus for our school website. so that is what i am doing. i simply asked for someone's help, not for some negative response.

    if anyone could help, i would appreciate it.
