    Search and delete old files

    Hi all!

I'm new (totally new) in JS programming. What I want to do I think is so simple, it's just a small script for searching in a directory structure (eg: C:\TEMP and subfolders) for files older than X days and delete them making a list of what is deleted.

Does anyone have a similar script or can give me some guidelines of which functions can I use?

    Thanks in advance.

Hmm, this sounds kinda fishy to me. I don't think I would want you looking at my folders. So why don't you tell us why you REALLY want to do this? Spyware? Besides PHP would be better for this, it would search folders on the server.

It's not spyware, I just want to clean network filesystems by deleting files that are not being used for X days. That's all.

then you should refer to your Network Administrators' Manual or SDK. they'll be examples in there, no doubt.

And beyond sounding fishy, you cannot do this with JS.
