screen size - floating menu question

Hi, I have been a reader of this forum for a few months now and have found it to be incredibly useful and interesting. I now have a question, I built a website and because some pages are somewhat long in length, I decided to put in a floating menu. It works great with a screen/window size of 1024x768 or larger, however, if a screen/window size is only 800x600, then only half of the floating menu appears. The wesbite page is www.gwarjapan.net. If anyone can think or suggest a way to correct this problem when viewing the page with a screen/window size of only 800x600, I'd be most appreciative. I have google searched solutions, but haven't found anything yet.
    Thanks

use percents in your menu sizing instead of absolute values.

Thanks for the reply, I am not sure how to set the menu (length) without making it go out of porportion to the rest of the layout/spacing for the pages.

    JavaScript issue

Since this obviously is a JavaScript issue, I'll request a moderator to move it to the appropriate forum. Please do not cross-post as it is against the forum rules.

On a different note: I'm personally not fond of floating menus at all.
Try to limit your page lengths to roughly 2-3 times the window height and you'll be fine with a static menu in a predictable place on each page; visitors usually don't have a problem with scrolling up and down a bit.
    Regards,
    Ronald.

Thank you, and sorry for the posting in htnl, that's just how frustrated I was getting with this silly problem. I still was unable to get the menu to show fully at 800x600, so all I ended up doing was removing the spacing between menu items to crunch the length size down, it's not how I wanted it to look, but at least it all fits at a minimum screen/window size of 800x600 and up.

Once again, thanks, and sorry. I didn't cross post, just put the single post in a wrong section. Will pay more attention to any future posts.
