    Page zoom Disable

you know when you hold down Ctrl and move the wheel on the mouse forward and backwards?

How the F#ck do you disable this or set it to default, it screws up my site!

    Thanks!

it's not your business to break the user's browser when developing a site. the browser belongs to me, not you, so if I want to resize text using "ctrl"+"wheel scroll" then I can. it's not right of you to break that.

the solution is to change the unit of measurement in your CSS, ie use em sizes that way your page will scale properly when resized.

    Internet Explorer

You can cancel the onmousewheel event, but like all user preferences, zooming can't be prevented all together, nor should it.

Okay, thanks alot. I will find out how to make 'em measurements' or what ever...

I am just getting annoyed because my sites graphics that surround the text keep on shifting places when this happens.

I sympathise .. but the issue is really about your expectations - don't expect unchanging pixel perfection, because the web is not DTP - it's supposed to flow
