Progress bar that shows progress thru site?

Hi - I would like to create a script that automatically calculates the perecentage of pages completed from the total in a multipage html document, and display it as a bar graph, like a progress bar.

I've seen this done in .asp but never in javascript. Is there some fundamental reason why not?

    Thanks,

    Ellen

The fundamental reason may be that there's no way to get this calculation from the client-side...

    • 2-demensional array with url and status
    • cookie with status of each array index
    Easy.
Forget style. Code to semantics. Seperate style from structure, and structure from behaviour.
I code to specs, and test only in Firefox (unless stated otherwise).

    Thanks...

Hi - thanks very much for your help. I'm not sure I understand it yet, but am working on it... had to set this project down for a while.
