I've scoured the Internet for a solution to this but to no avail. I am not a Javascripter so any help would be appreciated.

I have 9 select menus each with the same option values which are numbers 1-4. If someone selects the option "1" in a select menu I want to remove it from all the other select menus so it cannot be selected again. Once someone has selected the full range from 1 to 4, ie. select1 = 1, select2 = 2, select3 = 3, and select4 = 4, all the remaining select menus should not contain any options. Basically what is happening is the user is selecting an event in the order they would like to attend but they can only choose to attend up to four events. Thanks for any help.

Aslo, is there a way to check this collection of select menus to see if all option values are empty? I want to alert the user onSubmit if they have missed this section of my form. When the form loads the select menus beginning option is
Code:
<option value=""><option>
