    Question Printer Friendly Webpage

I happen to stumble upon this by accident and thought that it was really cool. I noticed that on this webpage they mention that the page in printer friendly. I have seen links to pages that were formated to be printer friendly, as in they didn't have graphics or special styling) but this page is different. When you click File/Print Preview the preview is nicely formated for printing. How did they do this?

Here is the web page: http://www.bertuccis.com/menu/

    Thanks!

they use an alternative stylesheet for printing. no JS involved. an older method (for browsers which didn't used to support page media styles) was to have two templates for each page - one for screen and one for print. this method is now obsolete, so ignore those sites - normally news ones - which have a "print this page" link. it's CSS you want to explore.
    *keep it simple (TM)
