    direct hits

    for example: if google finds a content page of my site, and thus direct hits the page, but the page is actualy a content page for an iframe, can i place some code into the page that will enable the browser to load the index and thus menus and place the requested page into the frame back into the frame

    the site is at
    www.impactrecords.co.uk

    Put this in each every page
    Code:
    <head>
    <script type="text/javascript">
      if (top == window) location.href = "index.asp?page=" + escape(location.href);
    </script>
    </head>
    Then in index page, retrieve the querystring 'page' ang put it in the iframe source.
    It is easier to do this if you are using a server-side language.
