    Running script

    I need to run the follwing comand from a text link on a diffrent page then where the funcytion i wnat to call is located how can i do that. here is the link

    <a href="javascript:myChromeless.closeChromeless()">

    However the fuynction resides on a page called back1.html is there a way i can have the link execute that function form a diffrent page?? i hope

    If the page you wish to use the function on is a child window of back1.html you can use opener.function()

    The function in back1 is just running in the body so is there no way to do this?

    If there is no relationship between the two documents then how do you expect the one to reference any object of the other??

    Since there is no relationship, you will need to include the function as an external javascript file in the page you wish to use the function... but I have a feeling that not only is there not a relationship, but both documents are on seperate domains and your true problem is you do not have cross site scripting permissions...

    Eitherway, you need to provide alot more details than you have, preferably a link... Anything less is a waste of time trying to guess back and forth of what is going on, on your end...
