Menu Question (based on brothercake's menu)

Ok, I'm trying to implement brothercake's menu on my website. Here's the website: http://ccc.domaindlx.com/nmajdan/dev/linksdev.html. It works great when I'm using his one.html, but when I move the code into my website, as you can see, it messes up. What is going wrong?

Another question. How can I turn off a link? Meaning some of my highest level categories (ie. Ranking & Odds, Sooner Sites) should not link to anything but should just pop up the lower level menu. Any way to do this? I've tried putting in ,' ',, ,,, and null but nothing worked. I've never touched javascript before but I have very low level experience (college courses) in C, Java & VB.

Ok, so apparently is a Firefox issue. Works fine in IE but not FF.

Your code claims XHTML 1.0 strict via it's DTD but then it also contains <font> tags which are definitely not kosher for a "strict" page so I'd say you should start by eliminating that conflict. Try running the page through a validator and making it valid would be a good place to start on resolving this since this problem could easily be caused by that kind of mismatch between declaration and actual html.

Those validator services aren't polite but they can be very valuable since they help ensure your html doesn't have problems that browsers might handle in an ambigous fashion.

well, i think i corrected most of the problems it found. it found a lot of problems with my links, but i dont think i need to worry about those. i'm still having the problem with Firefox adding huge black borders around my menu items. and i still dont know how to turn off the links. thanks for the help.
