    Question how to change usemap value along with src?

    hallo;

    I'd like to get an onClick event to change the value of USEMAP so I can replace one clickable image with another in the same document - each having different clickable areas of course.

    Tho I'm a novice, I've spent a few hours trying to find a way, and while I've learned quite a bit (like USEMAP isn't addressable), I'm no nearer a good solution...

    thanx

    you could put your images on different divs and show/hide them as you needed them.

    hope this helps

    and everybody just stares at you. But you do the same in an aeroplane, and everybody joins in."

    yup, thought of that

    Thanks Martin

    I did try that, and if it weren't for the fact <div>'s get positioned relative to the page, I would have gone with it. May do it yet, but it means using all <div>'s on the page. Was hoping for some script way.
