    IE6 error

    I added a Drop down menu to this page and now IE6 is giving the following error. I searched through the scripts and didn't find any ocurrence of 'IE'. Any ideas on how to fix this? Thank you!

    You have two scripts ...
    Try to determine which one is in error.

    <script language="javascript1.2" src="navcond.js"></script>
    <script language="javascript1.2">

    This should go in the javascript forum section, so all those specialist get a look at it. I'll ask a moderator to push it over there

    Does menu2.js run from this page? What is the browser detection part?

    Thank you.

    Yes, if I correctly recall you are calling the external file directly after your opening body tag....

    The browser detection detects if the users is using Internet Explorer or Netscape and document.writes either divisions or layers accordingly....

    That part of your script is missing and it is obvious that you got that script from somewhere on the net but there are no credits indicating where. I would suggest you return to wherever you found the script and look for the missing part(s)....

    Thumbs up

    Thank you so much!! I removed it and the error went away. I didn't know it was there.

    Thanks again.
