Can anybody help me with this problem...

I need to control the size and features of a browser window but without using the window.open feature. I need the code to be in the page itself as i have not got acccess to the page linking to it.
Any help would be much apreciated as this is holding me up on a tight deadline.

Nope, no way to do this. It's all part of the fact that there are web sites that would completely claim an end user's computer if they could. What they can do without this additional capability you would like is still pretty bad which is why newer browsers are giving more and more control of what scripts can or can not do to the end user.
