    prompt hides overflowing text

    I made this script that words all right in firebird.
    But when I test in IE, there is one problem.
    I make a prompt appear, but the prompt is too small to contain all my text, so it hides it instead of adding to the prompt's height...
    What can I do?

    Prompt text length is limited in IE, I think 2 lines only. There's nothing you can do about that.

    I can't beleive this. This is such a stupid problem to have. I guess I'm gonna have to make myself a prompt...

    In that case use IE's Modal Dialog Boxes
    Code:
    if (window.showModalDialog){
       var ans = window.showModalDialog(...); //set window.returnValue in the modal dialog page to return it to ans
    }
    else {
       var ans = prompt(...);
    }

    Thanks a lot.
    I needed a lot of text because I wanted the user to type in one of many options to choose it. I decided to go with a drop down menu, which makes more sence anyways, lol.
    Thanks anyways, it's always usefull to learn
