    window.print() suppressing xtra info

    I wish to suppress the browsers display of the webpage title, url, date, and page number on the printed page. Each of these items appears in each of the four corners of the page.
    Is there any way to do this? Thank you, in advance!

    i've actually been looking for the same answer for a while. lets hope its possible

    if you ever want something on your actual page to not print, this is how you do it though:

    in the <head>
    Code:
    <style type="text/css">
    @media print { .notPrinted { display: none; } }
    </style>
    and on whatever you don't want printed:
    Code:
    <img src="image.jpg" class="notPrinted">
    <table class="notPrinted">
    <a href="link.html" class="notPrinted">
    whatever you dont want printed, give it the class="notPrinted" in its <...>

    maybe that'll come in handy later

    That code is added by the browser itself to help people know where the "document" they printed came from and to prevent possible "social engineering" problems. There's a third party plugin for IE you can get that allows a lot more control of printing but it's ActiveX, there's nothing that's cross-browser or even readily usable outside of an intranet.
