MouseOver and MouseOut in parent window to control IFRAME

I have a page: http://www.blueeyedturtle.com that i would like to include an iframe that scrolls horizontally through a set of images. It would be simlar to what is currently at that URL but instead of atuomatically loading the pictures at the top, they would appear in an iframe in that top area when the "photos" link at the right was clicked.

The trouble I'm running into is that the scroll controls are in the parent window, and I can't seem to get them to control the iframe. Is it possible? I've tried it with all the javascript in the head section in both the parent window and the iframe. (Of course the mouseOver and mouseOut must stay in the parent window since that's where the graphics that control the scrolling are.)

    Any suggestions?

i solved my own problem... thanks to anyone who was trying...

i just added the controls into the iframe instead of trying to keep them in the parent window. it's not exactly what i wanted, but it's working better than i thought it would...
