    Creating dHTML layers (Visibility onClick)

    Hello ladies and gentleman,

I'm looking for a script that will allow me to generate floating layers on the page, when a link is clicked. I need to be able to pass variable images and text to the layer, dependent on which link is clicked.

So, imagine a page with thumbnails on it. When you click one of them, a layer appears which contains a larger version of the same picture, and a block of text that describes it.
Then when you click one of the other thumbs, the original layer disappears, and is replaced by a new one with a different image, and different text.

    I have mocked up a page -

    http://www.aandrengineering.com/swee.../racketts.html -

(Please don't judge me on the content - I am doing this for someone else!) where the first thumbnail generates a layer that looks like what I want, and the others create pop-up windows on the fly, which act the same way as the layers that I want, but I don't want pop-ups, so I can avoid running into trouble with Pop-Up Blockers.

These two functions together show what I am looking to create, but I can't find a script that does both things, and I don't know enough to be able to amend or write my own.

Can anyone help? I'd really appreciate it if you can.

    Many thanks,

    Alphawolf

if not exactly what you want, you can hack something together with the glide and lib libs.
