    Question Flash button for JavaScript OnClick event

    My web site use some buttons for search activities: 'Search', 'Clear' and such.
    Each button runs JS follow OnClick event.

    For new graphical and functional capabilities I replaced those Input buttons with Flash (*.swf) buttons through Dreamweaver and I put my (local) functions for the OnClick event.
    Result: It looks & fill as flash element but the OnClick event does not do anything.
    I add to my function some alerts to see where the problem is but it does not work as well.

    It does pops up alert message for the MouseOver event.

    Do I have to change my JavaScript functions to support Flash button?

    Pls. your assistance,

    Tsiki

    just use the getUrl actionscript function

    that's all it does

    i dont have the syntax handy, but it's roughly

    on (rollOver) {
    getUrl("http://www.yourdomain.com/blah.js","yourfunction(arguements)");
    }

    any example you can find will work, it's an easy behaviour to use since that's all it does and there aren't every any variables or anything. if you're still having trouble post again and i'll look it up or give you an actionscript.

    good luck.
