    times downloaded script

where can i find a "times downloaded" script? If you have a bunch of downloads on a page, it shows how many time each has been downloaded.

I don't know if this can be achieved with javascript, and if so it wouldn't be the most practical approach. I would try a php/mysql script so that the number of downloads could be stored in a database.

Javascript cannot write to a file, so it cannot store a counter or other data/variable. This can only be done server side with php, Perl etc.
