Show JS errors on a page

How do I get JavaScript error box to show up in my IE 5.5 browser? Is there a setting I can change?
I want the error box to pop up and tell me what the JS error is.

Tools > Internet Options > Advanced > Display a notification about every script error.

Check that checkbox and press "Apply".

Better yet, http://www.mozilla.org/ -- download Mozilla or Firefox and use "Tools > Web Development > Javascript Console" which provides far better error diagnostics.

You can also try the Microsoft Script Debugger for IE.
