Multiple select value selection without interation

    Hi folks,

I have a multiple select list which has more than 1000 elements in it. Problem is when I have to get selection values from it i have to iterarte all 1000 elements . Is there any way I can get values selected without iteration the whole list
    I appreciate your response

If you know what letter the value begins with pressing that key should scroll you down to that section.

For this to work though your list would have to be in alphabetical order to start with

That's not what pdeeps wanted to do. I think he/she means getting the selected items programatically.

pdeeps, there's no way but to iterate the list to get the selected items in a multi-select combo box. Why do you have 1000+ option items in the first place? Is there any other way to present the data in such a way that the list is smaller like presenting it in batches? Say, those only that start in letter A, then there's a link to display those that start in B, and so on.
