    Javascript and MySql

    Hi guys

    is there any way in which a javascript can read data from a mysql database and dump it on the screen so it is a live data view??

    No. Browser based javascript simply isn't allowed to play those sorts of games. You could perhaps simulate it via hidden iframes but you must have a server side component which does the actual talking to the database.

    You could use PHP to read the Mysql database and then pass the PHP variables to the javascript function.
