    if var one_day=1000*60*60*24 makes a day what makes a second?

    Hi

    The title explains my question really, i was reading through the interacting with time tutorial and it said that var one_day=1000*60*60*24 will bring it out as a day so you can find out how many days it is untill christmas, what would the sum be to make it into seconds?

    thanks

    one_day=1000*60*60*24
    one_hour=1000*60*60
    one_minute=1000*60
    one_second=1000

    These are the variables you'd multiply by to get days/hours/minutes/seconds out of the supplied amount of milliseconds (1 second = 1000 milliseconds).

    Divide by 1000 (milliseconds)

    eg: 1000*60*60*24/1000
