    Hierarchical view

    Hi everyone,

I am currently writing a script in PHP that generates an HTML page with dynamically generated JavaScript in it. The script looks through the database and creates a hierarchy of objects (directories, subdirectories and files) and then outputs it to the page. I want to teach my script to make dirs and subdirs expandable/collapsible.

What’s the best way of doing that?

Each entry has seven values that have to be displayed. I understand how it can be done technically but I want a good ready decision. Could someone link to an example where this implemented and working?

    Thanks a lot everybody!

I have this DOM Tree Viewer script that generates an expandable tree structure, which should be rather close to what you need presentation wise. You are welcome to pouch it.
