    Check Required Script.

    Check Required Script.

    In the script it shows that you must type required in the value area of the input type. For example the text box value usually is 'description' But with the script to added to it, now the value says requireddescription. Will this now show up when the form is submitted? It's a form mail script I'm using and I would rather the email not show the word required next to the value.

    Will required show up?
    Thanks.

    Here is part of the form script:
    <form onSubmit="return checkrequired(this)">

    <input type="text" name="requiredname">
    <input type="text" name="requireddescription">
    <select name="requiredhobby">
    <option>....</option>

    That would depend on the mailscript, but in general, yes.

    My mailscript doesn't have any "required" stuff added to it, yet - (although I write custom scripts too) - you could use that and validate the required fields client-side with javascript...
